This 16th century villa belonged to the Pierloni family and was transformed in summer estate in the 17th century.
Villa Collepere is situated in the Verdicchio wine area, just outside the charming village of Matelica.
The villa is surrounded by a nice garden with lots of places for reading and relaxing.
In the garden behind the house there is a pool built as a terrace. From the pool you have an astonishing panoramic view on the landscape surrounding Matelica with it's hills and wine estates. A nice swim before breakfast or a glass of wine by the pool gives an extra touch of luxury to your stay at the villa.
The breakfast buffet is generous and offers a vide variety of local products. Bread with marmelades, honey, fruit, pies, cheese and ham are some of the delicious treats you find on the table.
The villa has 3 suites, 2 single rooms and 7 double rooms. All rooms have private bathroom and 2 rooms are handicap accessible.
In the area surrounding the villa there are lots of paths for walking, riding a bicycle and exploring the countryside.
